Travel Highway 17 South to the City of Georgetown, approx 35 miles.
In the center of Georgetown at the intersection of Highway 17 South, Highway 521 and Highway 701, turn left and continue on Highway 17 South.
Leaving the City of Georgetown on the Sampit River Bridge, stay to your left.
After the bridge turn left onto South Island Road (also known as County Road S-22-18) and travel approx. 2.7 miles, South Island Plantation will be on your left.
From Charleston, South Carolina:
Travel Highway 17 North to Georgetown County.
From the second Santee River Bridge (North Santee River) continue approx 6.6 miles to Whitehall Avenue (also know as County Road S-22-23) on your right.
Turn right onto Whitehall Avenue and continue approx 2.5 miles to South Island Road.
Turn left on South Island Road and travel approx .5 miles, South Island Plantation will be on your right.
